Happy Lunar New Year ā and welcome to the Year of the Fire Horse!
I donāt know about you, but after all the intense shedding weāve been doing in the Year of the Wood Snake, I am utterly exhausted. And honestly, I couldnāt imagine how I would suddenly be āgalloping forwardā into the Fire Horseā¦
But as I was resting and recovering last week, it came to me:
The only fuel powerful enough is Love.
Love ā with a capital L.
Not pushing. Not forcing. Not striving.āØLove.
From that realization,Ā lyrics began to come. Breath by breath. Movement by movement.Ā
And I knewā¦ I wanted these lyrics to be woven into the very songs we move to in PranaShakti ā so we could receive it in our bones as we dance. So the body could remember what the mind forgets.
With the help of a program called Suno, these lyrics blossomed into full musical expression ā turning my lyrics into songs of healing and movement.
