🌹Being the Presence of Love (even when it’s absent)

Honoring Mary Magdalene’s Feast Day — and the Women Walking Her Path Today

Today is the Feast Day of Mary Magdalene—a woman whose voice was nearly erased… yet whose presence rises through time like an indestructible rose blooming in the center of who we are.

According to her long-hidden gospel, after the crucifixion—when the disciples were frozen in fear—Mary stood up. She reminded them of the Good. Not as something “out there,” but as a Presence already within.

She didn’t escape.

She didn’t bypass.

She descended—into her body, her knowing, her love—and became the Presence of Love in the absence of it.

That is our invitation today.

In a world heavy with injustice, violence, and fear, Mary Magdalene offers us a sacred path:

Not to numb out, but to root in.

Not to rise above, but to go deeper in.

To remember that the Divine lives within us—and when we remember, we rise.

And when we rise, we respond.
