🌹 Solar Season Soothers for Fiery August Days

The heat is ON.
Not just from August’s fiery Leo season… but also from the solar flares and geomagnetic storms lighting up our skies.
If you’ve been feeling more restless, inflamed, or “lit up” inside and out — you’re not imagining it.
Nature has a way of balancing extremes, and so can we.
Here are some of my favorite Solar Season Soothers — four Ayurveda-inspired rituals to sip, spritz, and soak your way back to peace when the sun blazes high. You can make them yourself, or treat yourself to the ready-made versions I’ve suggested.
🌅 Morning — Rose Petal Tea (Heart-Opening Start)
Make: Steep 1 tbsp dried rose petals in hot (not boiling) water with a pinch of cardamom. Sip before breakfast while facing the morning light, imagining rose-colored light filling your heart.
Treat Yourself To: Tulsi Sweet Tea by Organic India — this tea feels so luxurious to me. I love it!
🌞 Midday — Cucumber Mint Cooler (Solar Soother)
Make: Blend 1 cucumber, 1 cup fresh mint leaves, juice of 1 lime, and 2 cups cool water (plus honey and cardamom if you wish). Sip slowly during peak sun hours, picturing green light cooling your entire system.
Treat Yourself To: Chill a can of cucumber sparkling water by Spindrift — I’ve tried many, and this one is my favorite.
🌙 Evening — Rose Cooling Spray (Sunset Reset)A rose spray is a beautiful way to cool and refresh skin after a hot day — but making it safely with essential oils at home is tricky. It’s much easier (and longer-lasting) to choose a high-quality ready-made version.
Treat Yourself To: Heritage Store Rosewater Spray — pure rosewater mist, simple and soothing. I use it to spritz myself, my house, and I love spritzing everyone as they relax at the end of a PranaShakti class.
🌌 Night — Soothing Bedtime Bath Blend (Deep Rest Preparation)
Make: 1 cup coconut milk, 3 drops rose essential oil, 2 drops sandalwood, 1 drop lavender, and optional petals. (If you’ve never used coconut milk in your bath…trust me- it’s so luxurious!) Soak for 15–20 minutes.
Treat Yourself To: Balancing Rose Magnesium Bath Soak – Thulisa Naturals — I like to turn out the lights and light a candle to make it an even more relaxing experience.
When the outer world turns up the heat — on the thermometer, in the skies, or in life itself — we can meet it with gentleness, beauty, and a little water and flower magic.
May you be cooled and calmed. 🌹💦✨
With love,
Deb
P.S. Want to grab one of the last spots in my RESTORE retreat? It’s an Ayurvedic reset that your mind and body will thank you for. 🌿✨ We only have 3 spots left!
If you feel that quiet yes in your body, I encourage you to trust it and claim your space soon. This sacred circle is forming beautifully, and I’d love for you to be part of it. 💫
